Professional Black Mist Kit

NiSi Professional Black Mist kit with 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 stop filter

The NiSi Black Mist filter creates a cinematic look and is commonly used to smooth out wrinkles, blemishes and create a “dreamy” style image of a subject. It reduces contrast and highlights are diffused, helping to balance the tonal range between highlights and shadows.

I filtri circolari Black Mist hanno un’intensità che va da 1/8 a 1/2 stop, con 1/2 che rappresenta l’effetto più forte. L’effetto del filtro diventa circa due volte più forte ad ogni aumento di grado.

Black Mist circular filters range in intensity from 1/8 to 1/2 stop, with 1/2 being the strongest effect. The effect of the filter becomes approximately twice as strong with each increase in degree.

Suppress the lights and open up the shadows

NiSi’s Black Mist suppresses highlights and opens up shadows for well-balanced contrast. The light sources maintain a strong center with a nice glow from the light source.

Black Mist is suitable for many applications.

Not only for portrait photography, Black Mist filters can also be used in other scenes, such as night photography, landscape and still life… to create a cinematic atmosphere. Black Mist adds an extra bloom and nuance to the scene lights. Any direct light source will become more film-like, with a smoother, buttery texture around the highlights.

The professional kit includes Black Mist 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and a case with microfibre cloth.
