NiSi 100x150mm GND filters
NiSi 100x150mm graduated neutral density (GND) filters are an essential tool for every landscape photographer. They overcome the limits of dynamic range: detail in both the bright and dark areas of the same scene.
In optical glass, with no distortion or colour shift. For NiSi 100mm holders such as the V7, and for other brands’ holders that take 100mm-wide, 2mm-thick filters.
Which transition?
Soft, Medium, Hard and Reverse, from 1 to 5 stops. Pick one and we’ll show you only that.
Soft for uneven horizons, Medium works almost everywhere, Hard for the sea and plains, Reverse for a low sun on the horizon.
Simulated on the same photo (Neist Point, photo by Alessio Andreani): the overlay darkens the sky above the horizon. In real life a 3-stop filter darkens more, and the right transition depends on the shape of the horizon.
